Short Fiction: Memories and Mirages: An Indian sci-fi

When Aakash, a 42-year-old-neurosurgeon is diagnosed with a brain tumour, he becomes the first man in the world to receive a brain transplant. The problem is the medication hasn’t been able to repress all memories of his donor’s life.

Who is Sejal?

What is the significance of Manek Chowk?

And why does he feel like the family by his bedside are not his own?

My latest contribution to The Story Mint serials is Chapter 3 of “Memories and Mirages”, a science-fiction story set in India.
